Saturday October 14th- Velvet Creme Doughnuts, a Miami icon that first opened its doors in 1947, returns to the Little Havana neighborhood with a Grand Opening ribbon cutting at 10:00 am. The family-owned business is known for its iconic red and white vans; and fresh, hot glazed doughnuts, fresh roasted coffee, and soft serve ice cream. Tuesday October 17th- Mignonette Uptown- Chef/restaurateur Danny Serfer is welcoming back the queen of sweets and a 2012 and 2013 James Beard Award Finalist for “Outstanding Pastry Chef”, Hedy Goldsmith for an exclusive, one-night-only dining experience at Mignonette Uptown.
