Fall is in the air and the 2017 Cocktail Crawl at Fontainebleau Miami Beach did not disappoint – and neither did the debut of their fall cocktail menus created by the talented mixologists at Bleau Bar, Scarpetta, Hakkasan and StripSteak

Our first stop on the crawl was to Fontainebleau’s iconic lobby bar, Bleau Bar, which featured a new espresso martini that gives a nod to author Washington Irving and called the Headless Horseman.  Rum, espresso, Godiva liqueur and pumpkin spice infused with vanilla beans combine to create an adult version of the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Scarpetta by Scott Conant is well known for its upscale Italian cuisine, but the new fall cocktails featured in Sorso are just as flavorful (with fewer carbs)!  The Eclisee cocktail was inspired by the recent solar eclipse. This thoughtful cocktail not only resembles the eclipse with its dark colors and half-moon dehydrated blood orange slices as garnish, but the entire drink is just as awe-inspiring featuring bourbon, Grand Marnier, Montenegro Amaro, Averna Amaro, and orange bitters.

The 400 Rabbits cocktail at Hakkasan, is crafted with Mezcal, yellow chartreuse, fresh pineapple juice, yellow pepper juice, lemon juice, and muddled basil.  Its name comes from the Aztec myth of the 400 drunken Rabbit Gods.  This libation is intoxicating with its ingredients, bright color and fragrant aroma.

The Goldfinger cocktail is StripSteak by Michael Mina’s take on the dirty martini.  This martini is “shaken, not stirred” and features vodka, breakfast gin, two kinds of sherry, and tempus fugit king l’aero d’or.  This cocktail is as classic as the 1959 Ian Fleming novel that it is served on.

Anyone can enjoy the golden era glamour of Fontainebleau Miami Beach like Frank Sinatra once did, so be sure to stop by the property to sip and savor any of these outstanding cocktails from their new fall menus:
