Chef Allen's Hook, Catch & Cook: An Evening of Sustainable Seafood
A very special evening is in store on Thursday, February 8 in the main center plaza of the Arsht. Join Chef Allen and Chefs Sean Brasel of Meat Market and Cesar Zapata of Phuc Yea for CHEF ALLEN’S HOOK, CATCH & COOK:AN EVENING OF SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD as part of its 2018 Seasonal & Sustainable Original Dinner Series. After fishing for the days catch with Captain Mike Puller and Pubbelly’s Jose Mendin, the creative and sustainable menu will be set and presented to the lucky diners. Tickets are $82 pp with a portion going to Captain Puller’s nonprofit, The Fishing Experience. Ladies Night Every Thursday at Phuc Yea
The Ladies Night offering includes the following: $1 prosecco sponsored by Zonin from 9pm to 10pm alongside a selection of happy hour priced cocktails that include “Clean Cocktails” and Phuc Yea’s Classic Signatures priced at $7 until midnight. Strictly made with top shelf spirits, this isn’t the typical ladies’ night serving “who knows what.” Bubbles are sponsored by Zonin prosecco and cocktails are blended with Herradura, Tanqueray and other top shelf spirits.
The “Clean Cocktails” created for the night blur the line between healthy and not so. Cocktails are made with non-grain based spirits derived from agave and grapes, even utilizing a coconut water distilled vodka, tropical fruit, veggies and other refreshing flavors. They are also sweetened with either agave, honey, maple, or a zero-calorie sweetener solution.
Don’t feel like going the “healthy-ish” route, Phuc Yea’s Signature Classics will also be available at happy hour pricing until close. House favorites such as the District 5 and Lucky Cheng anchor the menu.
Special Screening of Autism in Love
Shalva, the esteemed non-profit dedicated to aiding those with disabilities of all ages, presents an exclusive director screening of the 2015 Emmy-nominated film, Autism In Love at the newly opened Frost Planetarium in Downtown Miami. Following the film, guests will be able to enjoy curated cocktails, delectable gourmet bites and special musical guests DJ Irie performing adjacent to the museum’s aquarium space.

Truffle enthusiasts, you’re in luck. For the entire month of February, prepare for the ultimate treat for your senses at Bazaar Mar by José Andrés by indulging on their limited truffle tasting menu! The dinner menu available at $150/pp features eight special menu items that integrate these flavorful bites in a variety of different preparations. Dish highlights include José’s Asian Taco made with black truffle, Smoked Toro Tartar made with toro tuna, Grilled Hama Hama Oysters topped with smoked butter and truffle shavings, and Sea Urchin Coca topped with shaved Périgord Truffles. Kick off Ground Up Music Festival at Ball & Chain
Kick off Ground Up Music Festival at Ball & Chain on Thursday, February 8th with a special performance by the festival’s headliner Snarky Puppy’s lead guitarist, 3-time Grammy-winning Michael League. League will be performing live with the Ball & Chain Trio on the Pineapple Stage from 8pm to 10pm. This event is free and open to the public however guests must be 21 and over to attend.
Guest Chef Series at Plant Miami with Niven Patel
Plant-based restaurant, Plant Miami, located on The Sacred Space Miami wellness campus in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, announces today their new Plant-Based, Guest-Chef Series will launch with Ghee Indian Kitchen’s chef-owner, Niven Patel, on Sunday, February 11. Patel will collaborate with the restaurant’s culinary power duo, Executive Chef Horacio Rivadero, a James Beard Award South semifinalist (2014) and Food & Wine’s “Best New Chef: Gulf Region” (2012), and Pastry Chef Veronica Manolizi, to create an Indian-inspired, four-course menu featuring vibrant, organic, living cuisine. Together, the chefs will guide diners through a culinary journey of vegetable-forward dishes that invigorate the palate with the transporting flavors of an Indian spice cabinet. All produce for the exclusive evening will be locally sourced from both Plant Miami’s partner farm, Paradise Farms, as well as Patel’s own backyard farm, Rancho Patel. Curated beverage pairings will highlight local craft beers, biodynamic wines and organic craft cocktails. Super Bowl Sunday Pre-Game at Nikki Beach
On Sunday, February 4th, Nikki Beach will be pre-gaming for Super Bowl with their "Amazing Sundays" Brunch featuring a Pre-Game Tailgate with Pats and Eagles themed Color Wars, Football Trivia and Blue and Green goodies for guests from 11am to 4pm. Later in the evening starting at 7pm, Nikki Beach will kick off Sunday Night Flights - $25 champagne flights featuring 4 different sips for “Football Widows” and bubbly lovers alike. Last Call American Eatery and Bar Super Bowl Watch Party
Last Call American Eatery and Bar, a new addition to the Sunset Harbour neighborhood in the former Lutum space, will be showing the Super Bowl on all of its TVs. The sports bar and eatery will offer $6 buckets of Bud Light and $8 well specials throughout the game. Guests will also be able to enjoy fan favorite bites while watching the big game, including wings, ribs, and burgers.
Wine & Dine at The Miami Beach EDITION
The Miami Beach EDITION invites guests and locals alike on Tuesday, February 6, for the first installment this year of its dinner series Wine & Dine. Taking place in the historic round oval dining room of Jean-Georges’ iconic Matador Room, Wine & Dine will pair rare, exclusive wines with award-winning cuisine.
This month’s dinner series will feature California wineries HALL Wines and WALT Wines, featuring some of the most popular and exclusive wines from each winery, including the HALL Wines "Terra Secca" Cabernet 2014, an exclusive variety from a very limited case production. The night will commence with a welcome reception at Matador Bar with Steve Leveque, VP of Winemaking, who will walk guests through a hand-picked selection of wines and customized menu.
The February installation with HALL Wines and WALT Wines will start at 7pm and is priced at $195 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Seating is limited to 32 guests only, so guests are encouraged to reserve their spots in advance.
