The 17th South Beach Wine and Food Festival closed out its 5 day/ 90 event festival last weekend with record ticket sales and attendance all to benefit the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality.
If you didn't make the festival or want to help support FIU students, you can bid on the over 250 specially curated items featured on the SOBEWFF silent auction.
January 24 – March 7, 2018. http://sobewff.org/about/auction/
One of the most significant source of funds generated during the Festival are from the auctions held starting in November and leading up to, the Festival weekend. Now in it's 12th years, just in 2017, the Festival auctions generated more than $385,000 for student scholarships, which we hope to surpass with the support of donors, sponsors, partners and bidders, this year!
Over 250 items ranging from dinners to vacations to experiences to products are offered this year to those attending or NOT attending the festival, and just reading through the listings will get you excited about helping to support FIU’s scholarship program. Easy to register and simple to bid right on your phone. You even get updates when you are outbid.
