Weekly Nibble: NYE and New Year's Day Happenings Around Miami

It's been a long year, and we're all ready to celebrate a new beginning. There are so many options and places to go - we've picked out some of our favorites and broke them down into categories: dinner, late night parties, and hangover brunches just to keep it a little easier for you! Blue Ribbon Sushi at The Plymouth Miami Beach

Guests are invited to ring in the New Year New York style with a private dinner party at Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill.  The restaurant will host one dinner seating at 9:30 p.m. For $295 per person, guests will enjoy a three-course dinner filled with Blue Ribbon’s signature favorites including Yucca Dumplings, Japanese Kobe Beef Strip Steak and Assorted Sushi and Sashimi, to name a few. The Rooftop at E11EVEN

Miami invites guests to ring in the New Year with two options. Priced at $150 per person, guests can enjoy a three-course dinner with a bottle of Champagne per couple in the venue's glass-enclosed restaurant.  The menu will feature options including Oysters Rockefeller, 12 oz. Bone-in Prime NY Strip Steak, Grilled Branzino and Assorted Pastries, to name a few.  In addition, The Rooftop lounge will feature a $50 per person premium open bar from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight while dancing to the sounds of DJ Wasabi. Katsuya South Beach

Located in SLS South Beach, will host a Casino Royale celebration from 6 p.m - 12 a.m. The lavish dining experience prepared by Executive Chef Yoshi Migita and his culinary team will feature an a la carte menu with signature dishes such as Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, Miso-Marinated Black Cod and Wagyu Tobanyaki. At midnight, all guests will be provided party favors as well as a glass of champagne for a New Year’s toast. Guests are required to make reservations for the event and there are no set seatings for the night. Shooters Waterfront

This New Year’s Eve, Shooters Waterfront will offer a four-course prix fixe menu for $99 per person.  The family-friendly evening will be filled with surprises, including a live DJ, fire dancers and much more, that only get better as midnight approaches. Guest may select from Big Eye Tuna Tataki, Pumpkin Maple Bisque, Smoke Ham Croquette, or Carpaccio of Beef Tenderloin for the first course. For the second course choose from Baby Arugula Salad, Shrimp Ceviche, or Red and Golden Beef Salad. If all of that wasn’t enough, for the fourth course select from incredible options such as Quail, Black Grouper, Petite Filet Mignon and Jumbo Shrimp, or Brussels Sprouts Succotash.  For dessert, savor the Desert Duo, made up of decadent Milk Chocolate Dome and Mango-Mascarpone Cheesecake.  Ring in the New Year at Shooters for a memorable night filled with amazing views, great food and endless fun!

Downtown’s waterfront stunner, will ring in 2018 with New Year’s Eve: A Night Under the Stars, a special evening of fine dining, spectacular fireworks and exceptional views of Downtown Miami. On Sunday, December 31st, the festivities will start at 9PM, with a rooftop patio celebration showcasing a premium open bar and sounds by resident DJ Kristian Caro, paired with breathtaking views of Downtown Miami’s skyline; a unique midnight fireworks display will round up the evening, on the beautiful rooftop patio and poolside area. Meat Market Miami Beach

Meat Market Miami Beach, the contemporary Lincoln Road steakhouse, is inviting guests to celebrate the New Year with a multi course dinner and live DJ entertainment on December 31st . Guests can choose between two decadent packages featuring four-course dinner menus expertly crafted by Executive Chef Sean Brasel. New Year’s Eve Early Package features four courses from 6PM to 8PM for $150 per person (excluding tax & gratuity); Second Package features four courses from 9PM to 1AM for $250 per person (excluding tax & gratuity) and a midnight toast with party favors. On New Year’s Day they are serving their Brunch menu beginning at 11:30 a.m., and will offer specials on their new mocktails, including Granada Fizz* ($10, regularly $12) with pomegranate juice, citrus, mint and Aqua Faba.  *The cocktail version is Granada Gin Fizz $16.

Prime Fish

Celebrate the new year with a decadent brunch spread at a brunch favorite, Prime Fish! The brunch includes bottomless mimosas, bellinis, prosecco, bloody marys and a choice of one a la carte menu item including an array of classic egg dishes. priced at $39 per adult and $20 per child (excluding tax and gratuity).
