Fairchild Tropical Garden's 25th Mango Festival July 1-2, 2017

Join Fairchild Botanic Tropical Gardens as they celebrate Miami’s tropical summers with the sweetest and juiciest event: The International Mango Festival!

Enjoy two days of the King of Tropical Fruit with lectures, tastings, a mango auction, cooking demonstrations and tips to keep your mango trees thriving. Pick up a trick and collect recipes from local chefs at a cooking demonstration, shop artisan vendors or dine on delicious foods from local vendors, and sample refreshing brews perfect for Summer.

The Fairchild Mango Taste Test room. Fairchild selects the finest quality mangos, ripened to perfection and freshly cut for your tasting, cut fresh every day, all available for tasting. Help us decide which mango will reign supreme this year. Additional fee of $2 pp to enter, while supplies last.

Mango Displays, Mango Tree Sales, Food vendors, Kids activities, Lectures, and Demonstrations.

Celebrate the summer season with the world premiere of Concrete Beach Brewery's newest beer - the Mango Gose! This German style wheat ale made with mango will be sampled for the first time along with other favorites from the brewery! Sit down and relax at the beer garden and play some of your favorite lawn games! 

In addition, there are two special ticketed events that sound like a mango lovers dream:

Saturday, July 1st 2 pm:

Experience a flight of mangos and become a mango master! This event will follow a formal wine tasting format, taking you through the flavor profiles of each mango, led by our mango expert and Curator of Tropical Fruit, Dr. Noris Ledesma. The mangos will be paired with specialty drinks, presented by Shaw-Ross mixologist, Julio Cabrera, and cheese, sure to complement your palate! Fairchild Members: $40

Sunday, July 2nd-  11:00 am- 1 pm:

Fairchild's 18th Annual Mango Brunch is a tasty tribute to the most delicious of tropical fruits and is held in conjunction with the 25th Annual International Mango Festival. Join some of South Florida's greatest chefs as they prepare their best mango dishes for you.  The Mango Brunch is not only a delicious fête, it is also an important fundraiser for the Garden to support the work of the Tropical Fruit Program, which continues the pioneering work of Dr. David Fairchild, founder of the Foreign Seed and Plant Introduction Division of the United States Department of Agriculture. We are committed to his far-reaching goals for the collection, conservation, curation and distribution of superior tropical fruit from the Americas and Asia. Tickets are $100 Fairchild Member $125 Non-Member.
