After graduation from The Culinary Institute of America, she took a position at the then General Foods (now Kraft Foods/Mondelez) Test Kitchen in Westchester, NY where she was primarily responsible for recipe development, new product & line extensions development, food styling, product testing, sales rep. training and trade show support for both retail and food service products. She continues to have her my own successful freelance food styling and recipe development business working with Pepperidge Farm, Uncle Ben’s, Nabisco, Seagram’s, Grand Marnier, Smirnoff among many others. Always a lover of food and hailing from New Orleans, Laurita is also Site Coordinator for MIAbites non profit, Food Rescue US South Florida. Building relationships with chefs and restaurants, she has been pivotal in Food Rescues growth and outreach.

 

Jane Marie Russell

An attorney by day and amateur chef by night, Jane Marie is a Miami native that loves to cook, eat well, and explore her hometown on foot as an avid runner. Jane Marie is also the Community Engagement Coordinator for MIAbites non-profit Food Rescue US South Florida and will be running the TCS New York City Marathon in November 2023 while raising money for Food Rescue US. A part of Miami Fellows Class XI of The Miami Foundation, Jane Marie is committed to making Miami a better place for the next generation of Miami residents.
