I grew up in NY metro area…spent most of my career in the fashion shoe business as VP Sales and Marketing for NineWest, Liz Claiborne, Coach etc. (you should see my closet! ), but was always in charge of picking the newest and best restaurants to go to entertain clients…in the days of  those hefty "expense accounts".  Launched MIAbites as a start-up sister site to popular food website, CTbites, where I am partner and Marketing Director and Event Curator.  I am now a Miami resident who also is Site Director for Food Rescue US- Miami
