Weekly Nibble: Father's Day, International Sushi Day, Wine Bar Wars, Art of the Aperitif

This week’s Weekly Nibble Miami includes a number of upcoming events;  DIY sushi making, wine bar wars, and a variety of options for brunch and dinner on Father’s Day, Sunday 6/21.

Thursday, June 18th- Celebrate International Sushi Day with a special one day only event at SUSHISAMBA in both Coral Gables and South Beach locations. Guests will have the chance to handcraft the perfect nigiri sushi.  For $18 per person, guests (2 guest minimum to participate) will receive all the nigiri-making essentials and  step-by-step guidance. Ingredients provided include:

Fresh raw fish: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, shrimp and the sushi chef’s choice of the freshest market catch fish of the day

Nigiri mesh: 5 balls of freshly cooked rice, ready to roll

Thursday June 18- Wines of Chile and LAN invites 16 of Miami's top sommeliers and challenges them to Wine Bar Wars where they create four pop-up wine bars in just one day that bring Chile to life.  Hosted at The Moore Building in the Design District, from 7 pm to 10 pm, attendees not only get to try 32 of Chile's top wines, and decide which pop-up bar is the best, but are also entered for a chance to win two Business class tickets to Chile courtesy of LAN Airlines estimated at $14,000!
