"Taste of the Nation" Benefit July 16th at Loews Miami Beach

Now in its 27th year, Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation® South Florida @TOTNSFla , is gearing up for another banner event. This year's event on Thursday July 16th is the region’s premier culinary benefit dedicated to ending childhood hunger, and will showcase close to 50 of the hottest restaurants from both Dade and Broward counties, top chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and brewers.

The South Beach Chic – Food, Wine & Art-themed benefit will also feature silent and live auctions, an interactive art display showcasing local artists and a beer garden co-curated by Miami Herald food editor Evan Benn and Chef Bret Pelaggi.

The annual tasting event will take place on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 7PM to 10PM, at Loews Miami Beach, followed by the after party, "Chefs On The Half Shell"  from 10PM to Midnight. General admission tickets are priced at $125 per person. VIP tickets are priced at $250 per person and provide access to the event an hour before the doors open, as well as admission to the after party. One hundred percent of ticket proceeds from Taste of the Nation® benefit the No Kid Hungry® campaign.

This year’s exclusive Taste of the Nation “Chefs on a Half Shell” after party will feature oyster creations from host restaurant Lure Fishbar as well as The Dutch at W South Beach, Devon Seafood + Steak and Aaron’s Catering, and hosted by Chef Josh Capon and Chef de Cuisine John Iatrellis at Lure Fishbar at Loews Miami Beach Hotel.  Taking place from 10PM to Midnight, the soirée will feature bottomless champagne and ample oysters dressed by the city’s culinary pearls Conor Hanlon of The Dutch at The W South Beach Hotel and Residences, Rod Chitikov of Devon Seafood + Steak and Aaron Dreilinger of Aaron’s Catering.
