Labor Day is suddenly upon us and even though it still feels like a million degrees, Fall is in the air. Well, not really. MIAbites Weekly Nibble features some Labor Day festivities in addition to Miami Spice, which heads into it’s second month featuring those $23 lunches and $39 dinners.
Starting Thursday September 1st- Bar Primi, celebrity chef Andrew Carmellini’s trendy New York pasta bar, is popping up all of September at The Dutch Miami for an unprecedented Miami Spice event. The Miami Beach restaurant’s entire Spice menu for that month will consist of past and current dishes off of Bar Primi’s acclaimed menu, bringing seasonal Italian fare, along with some New York flavor, to the popular summer promotion. Sunday, September 4th- LDV Hospitality invites guests to enjoy “Bubbles & BBQ” - sure to be one of the hottest Labor Day parties in town - this full LDV Experience will take place at The Gale Rooftop. From 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Regent Cocktail Club bartenders will be creating handcrafted cocktails and featuring Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere Vodka. Delano Beach Club hosts Labor Day Edition of Privileged Sundays. Delano South Beach will be hosting a Labor Day Edition of Privileged Sundays on September 4th from 2-7pm with sounds by Dave Sol & Nate Ryan and live entertainment. Mondrian South Beach hosts Labor Day Weekend at Mondrian, a weekend extravaganza like no other. Starting Sunday, September 4th at 1:00 pm, guests can enjoy a Carnival-themed party complete with jugglers, a big top, stilt walkers and more. Specials include $100 rose magnum bottle specials, a $700 food and beverage minimum for cabanas and a waived dock fee for boats (must rsvp in advance for the boats). General admission is includes a $50 food and beverage minimum. The festivities continue into Monday, September 5th with an end of summer pool party. Beginning at 1:00 pm until sunset, guests can enjoy $100 rose magnum bottles, a live DJ, $500 F&B minimum for cabanas with waived dock fee for boats (must rsvp in advance for the boats), paddle boarding, jet skis, and kayaking available (additional cost). Monday, September 5- STK Miami Beach's All White Affair is a special edition of STK's Magnum Mondays aka Miami's favorite Monday night dinner party, and will begin at 8 PM, offering the first 100 guests a complimentary glass of Moët Ice. Thursday September 8th- The Miami Beach EDITION invites guests and locals alike for the launch of its newest dinner series Wine & Dine. Kicking off at Jean-Georges’ iconic Matador Room, Wine & Dine will pair the world’s most prestigious wines and winemakers with award-winning cuisine. “We created this dinner series for local foodies, wine lovers and hotel guests to experience the very best of our culinary offerings in an intimate setting, paired with some of the best wines on our extensive wine list,” said Top Chef Winner & Executive Chef of Restaurants at The Miami Beach EDITION Jeremy Ford.
