CookUnity Miami Emerges as One of Its Fastest-Growing Market
As CookUnity celebrates its 10th anniversary, the company marks a defining year of growth and scale, closing 2025 with more than $750 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) — the strongest performance in its history.
CookUnity is America’s first chef-to-you meal delivery. With a mission to empower chefs to nourish the world, CookUnity offers a solution that proves eating well can be convenient, affordable and delicious. The revolutionary model puts the power directly in chefs' hands, offering fully equipped kitchens, predictable revenue, and direct access to feeding millions across the nation. Subscribers get access to 180+ award-winning chefs, a rotating weekly menu of 300+ dishes, and fresh, fully prepped meals right at their doorsteps in sustainable packaging.
Since 2016, the team has grown rapidly from a small kitchen in Brooklyn, New York, to eight kitchens across the nation and Canada. CookUnity has built a marketplace designed to expand access to high-quality, nourishing meals for modern eaters, all hand-crafted by award-winning chefs. What began as a bold vision to bring restaurant-caliber food "beyond the confines of brick-and-mortar eateries" has evolved into an international platform connecting world-class culinary talent with eaters seeking convenience without compromise.
CookUnity opened their first kitchen in Miami in 2022 at the Alexander Hotel on Miami Beach. In 2025, Miami surpassed +3 million meals delivered, marking 100% year-over-year growth and positioning the city as one of the company’s most dynamic expansion markets. CookUnity operates one of its eight major commissary hubs in Miami, currently located in Hialeah having outgrown previous locations, supporting chef-led culinary teams locally while serving households across South Florida.
Among the chefs fueling Miami’s growth is James Beard Award–winning Chef Michelle Bernstein, a longtime pillar of the city’s culinary scene. Since joining CookUnity in 2022, Chef Bernstein has embraced the platform to expand her reach beyond traditional restaurants, bringing her signature Latin-inspired cuisine to thousands of households.
“CookUnity has completely changed the way I connect with people through food”, said Chef Michelle Bernstein. “It lets me share the dishes I love with diners across the country while staying true to my flavors and my story. Coming back to New York through the dining tables of thousands of homes is a dream.”
CookUnity continues to expand its chef network with 30 new chefs, including eight-time James Beard Award winner Marcus Samuelsson and Iron Chef Cat Cora.

AS A SPECIAL NOTE: CookUnity has taken their commitment to sustainability even further by partnering with our non-profit, Food Rescue US South Florida, to reduce food waste by donating their surplus food from their Miami Hub. This includes test prep items, surplus ingredients, prepared food, and individual meals that were from cancelled orders that Food Rescue volunteers deliver to local shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries.
