Sunny Isles: Rose Café returns with full dining experience

Rose Cafe, a beloved Sunny Isles cafe known for its healthy delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu of cafe fare including pastries, paninis and perfectly poured coffee just reopened last month, taking the opportunity to unveil a full bar program and dinner service, officially transforming into Rose Cafe & Restaurant. Located at 16690 Collins Avenue.

Rose Cafe & Restaurant is the work of philanthropist Alexandra Milton, whose love of travel and culture informs every detail of the restaurant. With business partner Sebastian Garaviz, Rose Cafe first broke ground during the immediate aftermath of the COVID pandemic, envisioned as a chic, sophisticated space where guests would feel welcome body and soul and find solace during that particularly difficult moment in history. With giving back as part of Milton’s DNA, she was drawn to the Agape Foundation, a rehabilitation program for women survivors of abuse and substance dependency, through the Seeds of Faith initiative.

Now, after capturing the hearts and appetites of its neighbors with charm and flavor, Rose Cafe & Restaurant will continue its journey welcoming all who enter, offering dinner service and a full bar experience beginning October 29, 2025. Now, guests can enjoy Rose Cafe & Restaurant all day, be it breakfast, a business lunch, or an elevated yet comfort-oriented dinner, supping on a new dinner menu of Mediterranean/Italian specialties.

Fresh dishes abound, including a generous array of Antipasti and Insalate, such as a trio of housemade Mediterranean dips served with house-made focaccia and slow-steamed octopus atop golden hummus with delicately fried polenta to the Cavolo e avocado salad of finely- chopped kale, shredded carrots, cashews, avocado, Parmigiano-Reggiano, housemade croutons and a drizzle of Caesar dressing.

Crafted Pastas include Paccheri al Pomodoro e Stracciatella – Paccheri pasta with fresh tomato sauce, basil, and creamy burrata cheese; Tagliatelle Bolognese – Fresh tagliatelle with slow-cooked beef ragù, San Marzano tomatoes, and a Barolo wine reduction; and Gnocchetti ai Frutti di Mare – Small gnocchi with clams, mussels, shrimp, octopus, and cherry tomatoes.
