Get Ready for Some Soccer: Where to Watch the World Cup 2018
The FIFA World Cup kicks off today, so dust off your soccer jerseys and get the vuvuzelas ready as 32 of the best national teams face-off in this month-long tournament.
While USA unfortunately didn’t qualify to compete in this year’s World Cup, North America was just selected as a host in 2026, which is reason enough to celebrate! The World Cup only happens every four years, so be sure to finalize your brackets and join in on the festivities at one of these South Florida locations to take advantage of their specials and catch one or all of the 64 games.
Enjoy the specials at Habitat and WATR at 1 Hotel South Beach
Don’t miss Habitat’s World Cup happy hour daily from 4 - 7pm and from 10pm until close while enjoying the following happy hour specials at the bar:
- All Habitat specialty cocktails, Well Drinks, Wines, and Draft Beer $4 - $9

Then, on June 17 for the Brazil vs. Switzerland game, WATR at the 1 Rooftop will host a viewing of the game with Brazilian cocktails and specials on their new skewers menu. Sit back, relax, and take in all that comes with this floating oasis 18 stories above the beach.

The menu will feature a variety of Novecento’s signature empanadas, Argentinian French toast made with condensed milk and dulce de leche; bacon pancakes featuring a bacon infused maple syrup; avocado toast; the Lomito sandwich made with thinly sliced filet; and their beloved Choripan sandwich. If you’re feeling boozy, enjoy unlimited Mimosas for an additional $20 per person, or quench your thirst with some ice-cold Heineken priced at $25 per bucket.
Rivalry matches will feature a live DJ along with raffles and giveaways with prizes such as official team jerseys, official soccer balls, roundtrip airline tickets courtesy of Aerolíneas Argentinas and Delta Airlines and much more!
