Five years on South Beach is almost an eternity for a restaurant. Lure Fishbar South Beach in the Loews Miami Beach Hotel is celebrating that exact feat. Just as quickly as it came, South Beach Seafood Festival is over. This past weekend thousands of guests took over 5 blocks of South Beach’s sand to feast on seafood and to drink plenty of cocktails.
This year Finlandia Vodka brought out some of Miami’s best bartenders to show off a little of their flair and cocktail making skills. Led by Executive Chef Adrienne Grenier, a former Chopped champion, 3030 has an exceptional menu, delicious food and many options. Their staff is well trained and knew which items were naturally gluten free and which could be made gluten free for me.
The menu focuses on four (or five) “smaller” plates (dessert not included), which leaves you feeling full, but not overwhelmed. What I enjoyed most about the menu were the unique food pairings, such as the Charred Octopus with marcona almond puree, farro, blistered tomatoes, feta, and arugula.
