"Rolling with The Homies": Bloggers compete at My Ceviche
UPDATE: And WE WON! Amber Love Bond created the winning burrito which will now be available at My Ceviche all month. The MIAbites burrito includes blackened fish, quinoa, carrots, cucumber, tomato, mango and lime jalapeno mayo. Healthy, delicious and colorful!
On Thursday September 28th, My Ceviche Midtown hosted a few of Miami's most prominent food influencers for a burrito rolling contest from 5:30 PM to 7 PM.
Our own Amber Love Bond represented MIAbites, of top bloggers and instagrammers that included @ChatChowTV, @TheHungryPost, @EatItMia, @StacyMoya, and @SucculentBite.
Each participant had their own burrito-making station with all the topping and proteins My Ceviche offers. Participants had 60 seconds to pick toppings, assemble, and roll the burrito. Executive Chef, Sam Gorenstein, sampled each one and decided which was the best burrito based on flavor, composition, and presentation. The winner was awarded a trophy, plaque, and their own burrito special for the month of October.
FREE popcorn and $1 beers made for a very fun “after work” event.
