Limited tickets are available for Sunday, April 15th special dinner on the farm with 2016 James Beard nominated Best New Restaurant, KYU.

Since opening in February 2016, the team at KYU has worked at creating a restaurant that is as sustainable and delicious as possible. This could not be done without the help of fantastic South Florida farms.

In honor of those proud partnerships, on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 5-9 pm, KYU and Harpke Family Farm are teaming up for a special evening on the grounds of the organic urban farm, located just off of the interstate & a stones-throw from FLL airport.  A large outdoor table will be decorated to reflect KYU’s design and ethos, and guests will be treated to a welcome cocktail by KYU’s fabulous bar team and a tour of the Hapke farm.

Greeted by Farmer Tamer Harpke & the James-Beard-nominated team from KYU MIAMI, 32 guests will experience an intimate feast for the senses under a Seminole-constructed Chickee hut, as they gather, family-style around our locally-milled farm tables.

Guests can expect KYU's wood-fired, Asian-inspired, locally sourced fare, to be enjoyed in a memorable farm setting. Chef Raheem Sealey will be on-hand, serving a balanced collection of dishes, from a refreshing chilled crudo, to flawlessly charred tastes from the grill. Harpke will apply his extensive wine knowledge, offering guests fine-wine-pairings throughout their meal, completing a truly unique farm-to-table dining experience.

Tickets are priced at $85 and include welcome cocktail & wine pairings chosen by the farm’s founder Tamer Harpke, highlighting his passion and can be purchased at  All proceeds will go to Harpke Farms and their mission to expand the farm to include outreach programs for veterans, educational partnerships, school garden sponsorships and more.
