By Popular Demand: As part of the Food Rescue US Miami Community Kitchen program, Stanzione87 will be providing free pizzas to those in need at their location on 87 SW 8th St/Brickell City Centre on Tuesday 10/27 to furloughed, laid off, unemployed hospitality employees and local charities and anyone in need of a meal for themselves or their family.

Over 400 lbs of pizza flour was donated to Food Rescue US Miami and with the suggestion of Chefs Aaron Brooks and Brad Kilgore, Chef/Owner Franco Stanzione stepped up and is excited to be able to be part of this community effort, “We recognize how difficult this year has been for many of our friends, and while we feel fortunate to have been able to still operate, we feel a responsibility to help our community and want to give back to those in need”.

With Miami unemployment still at an all-time high, and many restaurants and hotels still trying to get back on their feet, Food Rescue Miami has been funding local restaurants to prepare and provide free meals. Over 45,000 meals have been distributed since March out of over 14 different Miami area restaurants.

Last week at Ash! over 300 pizzas were distributed. Stanzions87 Is the newest addition to the Community Kitchen Meal program joining participants Café La Trova, Red Rooster, Boia De, Alter, Clives, Chef Creole and others.
