Celebrate at The Social Club

Granny's Old Recipe - Lead Bartender Andres Rairan.JPG

September is National Bourbon Heritage Month. Bars throughout Miami offer an array of creative and classic bourbon offerings, great for celebrating this refreshing holiday (because you need an excuse to celebrate). The Social Club, the everyday-brunch restaurant in the heart of South Beach, offers its comforting Granny’s Homemade Recipe by lead bartender Andres Rairan. “Think Thanksgiving dessert in a glass,” says Andres. Granny’s Homemade Recipe features a housemade apple pie infusion of Elijah Craig bourbon, Demarara simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice and tiki bitters. Andres tops the drink with Graham Cracker crumbs and adds a dehydrated apple slice for garnish, for a deconstructed apple pie taste and look.

This September, Minnow Bar celebrates Bourbon Heritage Month with its weekly WILD WEDNESDAYS promotion. Every Wednesday in September, the Miami Beach cocktail den will offer specially priced $9 unique Wild Turkey and Russel’s Reserve bourbon classic porch slammers, crafted by lead bartender Chris Resnick. Wild Turkey cocktails include The Brown Derby, The Kentucky Buck, The Gold Rush and the classic Old Fashioned. To complement the refreshing bourbon sippers, Minnow will also offer artisan grilled cheese sandwiches by chef Julian Garriga, featuring Sullivan St. Bakery. Fifteen dollars gets you a featured bourbon porch slammer and an artisan grilled cheese. Bourbon and grilled cheese, who knew?

Bourbon lovers will rejoice all September long as Fontainebleau celebrates National Bourbon Heritage Month. Throughout the property’s award-winning signature restaurants and bars, guests will discover specialty bourbon cocktails, flights, and spirit-infused bites.
