Klaw Miami: Last Chance for Miami Spice 2023

With less than two weeks remaining to savor the delights of Miami Spice, Klaw emerges as an indispensable gem, offering one of the most enticing dinner experiences for just $60.

With a choice of three in every category—appetizers, entrées, sides, and desserts—Klaw beckons diners to indulge. To maximize your gastronomic voyage, it's advisable to assemble a party of companions; two friends, at the very least, are recommended, but a gathering of six would be the ultimate, affording the opportunity to relish and virtually double your culinary adventure. A recent evening with friends proved to be nothing short of fabulous.

Klaw Miami is situated on North Bayshore Drive, in proximity to the picturesque Margaret Pace Park, housed within the resplendent Renaissance Revival-themed edifice of the historic Miami Women's Club.

Our Miami Spice journey commenced with a signature cocktail, the Mignonette Martini. Crafted with Tanqueray 10 Gin, Mignonette Vermouth, and a hint of lemon zest, it was an perfectly balanced 50/50 Martini, accentuated by subtle citrus undertones.

For our appetizers, we sampled all three offerings. Each one vied for our affections, making it difficult to designate a favorite. However, when pressed, the KLAW GREEN SALAD, topped with sherry vinaigrette, pecorino, and pine nut breadcrumbs, stood out.

A close contender was the BEEF TARTARE TOAST, featuring French mustard, capers, cornichon, and creme fraiche, offering a delightful symphony of flavors and texture.

The EAST COAST OYSTERS (3), in a martini brine, accompanied by cucumber and pink peppercorn, was just perfection.

The entrée selection was not the typical Miami Spice offerings. The ½ DOVER SOLE, adorned with grilled lemon, butter, capers and golden raisins, provided a medley of flavors that danced upon our palates.

The 10-Ounce NY STRIP, accompanied by a choice of peppercorn or truffle sauce, featured exceptional USDA Certified Black Angus Nebraskan Beef.

The GRILLED JUMBO PRAWN, served in yuzu koshu butter and fine herbs, were outstanding.

To elevate our Miami Spice journey, we opted to tantalize our taste buds further with the NORWEGIAN KING CRAB LEG, available for an additional cost.

For me, personally, this constituted one of the zeniths of the evening, as I had previously only sampled frozen crab. Savoring fresh Norwegian King Crab was nothing short of revelatory. It was served with lemon garlic butter, enhancing the natural sweetness of the crab.

As for the sides, there were no wrong choices. From hand-cut steak fries to charred bok choy and my personal favorite, the pan-roasted mushrooms, Klaw delivers on all sides .

For dessert, we saved a precious corner of our appetite. The WHIPPED CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE, featuring hazelnut cremeaux and brandy cherries, was a delightful conclusion. The LEMON POSSET, adorned with pistachio crumb and Italian meringue, offered a zesty finale.

Lastly, the TRES LECHES, graced with Mr. Black coffee liqueur, caramelia chocolate, and toasted coconut, was a sweet, indulgent crescendo.

In parting, please do yourself and friends a favor and make a reservation to enjoy Klaw Miami, Miami Spice Menu before it is too late. Time is of the essence, and this is an opportunity that should not be squandered. Reserve now on sevenrooms.com You will thank me later.
