The 14th Annual South Beach Seafood Fest: 10/21-24
South Florida's most anticipated seafood celebration is back! The 14th Annual South Beach Seafood Festival returns October 21 - 24, bringing four days of unforgettable culinary experiences to Miami Beach.
Tickets are now on sale to the beachfront festival that marks the official kickoff to Florida's iconic stone crab season and South Florida's hospitality season, bringing together more than 40 of the region's top restaurants, acclaimed chefs, bartenders and culinary talent for collaborative dinners, high energy competitions and all-inclusive beachfront tastings.
New this year, the festival kicks off Wednesday 10/21 with Made in Miami, an exclusive opening-night dinner honoring the chefs who helped shape South Florida's dining scene, followed by An Evening in Miami Beach on Thursday 10/22 , a series of collaborative dinners at several of the area’s most celebrated restaurants. The weekend commences with the fan-favorite VIP Chef Showdown on Friday 10/23 featuring 20 chefs competing across 10 head-to-head seafood battles and the festival culminates on Saturday, Oct. 24, with its signature main event, the Seafood Slam, brought to you by Jack Daniel's and GOYA Foods and presented by Tequila Herradura. Hosted by the City of Miami Beach, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Lummus Park turns into an all inclusive beachfront party featuring unlimited food and beverages from over 40 local restaurants.
“What makes this festival special is the community it represents," said Valerie Roy, Director of Marketing and Client Strategy at CI Management. "From the chefs who have spent years building the foundation of South Florida's culinary scene to the rising talents that are just starting to make their mark, the South Beach Seafood Festival is where you can find them together in one place. As we head into our 14th year, we’re more excited than ever about the caliber of chefs and restaurants this city continues to bring forward, and we’re proud to be the stage that showcases them all.”
Previously named one of the "Top 5 Specialty Festivals in the Country" by USA Today, among the "Top 5 Things to Do This Fall" by Forbes, and "Best Seafood Festival in the U.S." by the Travel Channel, the South Beach Seafood Festival continues to attract seafood lovers from across the country. In addition to celebrating South Florida's culinary community, the festival supports CI Foundation's EAT SMART program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing healthy meals and nutritional education to local communities and Florida's youth through programs in Miami-Dade County public schools.
