My journey with Celiac disease, an auto immune disease in which the ingestion of gluten leads to damage of the small intestine, began in 2014. Although gluten free food options have tremendously increased since that time, there is still a lack of understanding and care for those with my specific dietary need.  So if you're like me, finding a restaurant that offers gluten free options can be extremely difficult. Luckily, I have found a few places in South Florida that fit the bill (and which I frequent very often).

It’s a crazy thought, but as populations grow and more buildings are built and farmland becomes less and less eventually there could be a food shortage. Estimates say world population will be 9 billion by 2050 and we will need 60 percent more food. The evening stated with a lighter flare, the Quinoa and Avocado Powerbowl is dressed to the T. It's made with roasted squash, beet, pumpkin seeds, and crispy chickpeas — all contrasting beautifully with hues of green — and then dressing making this a fantastic summer salad.
